Spray painting machine is a professional term for a spray painting machine, but it is different from a paint booth or spray booth. A paint booth is a large room designed and manufactured for spraying workpieces
There are many types of spray painting machines and accessories: spray guns, glue coating machines, arc spray painting machines, high-pressure airless spray painting machines (such as PM201 spray painting machine), two-component spray painting machines, spray guns, air spray guns, pneumatic double diaphragm pumps, automatic mixing pressure conveying buckets, electrostatic powder spraying equipment, new powder spraying equipment, flame powder spraying systems, and so on. Some outdated equipment is gradually being replaced by new spraying machines. Take the current new spray painting machine as an example, it has a qualitative difference from traditional spray painting methods in the past.
Traditional spraying machines use compressed air to atomize paint and coatings, with a spraying speed of generally 10 meters per second. Such a fast spraying speed leads to excessive spraying and severe rebound of the coating, and brings back a large number of paint molecules, causing the coating to scatter and fly. This not only wastes a lot of paint, but also causes serious air pollution, and the coating surface is prone to defects. Due to the high recoil force during spraying, the coating is not easily attached to the corners and edges of the workpiece, so it needs to be sprayed for more time, causing sagging on nearby surfaces. Compared with manual rolling coating, it has the following advantages: firstly, extremely high coating efficiency. The spraying efficiency can reach 500-1200 square meters per hour, which is more than 10 times that of traditional drum construction
Secondly, excellent surface quality. Spray coating is smooth, glossy, dense, without brush marks, rolling marks, and particles.
Thirdly, extend the service life of the coating. High pressure airless spraying can allow paint particles to penetrate into the gaps of the wall, forming a mechanical bite between the paint film and the wall, enhancing the adhesion of the paint, and extending its service life.
Fourth, easily tackle corners, gaps, and uneven areas that are difficult to brush.
Fifth, save paint. The thickness of the brush coating is extremely uneven, generally between 30-250 microns, while airless spraying can easily obtain a coating with a thickness of 30 microns, saving 20-30% of the coating material. The airless sprayer uses a special electric, pneumatic or other power to drive a high-pressure pump to form a high pressure of 150-350Kg/cm2 for paint and coating. It is instantly sprayed through a specially shaped and structured airless nozzle, forming an extremely fine fan-shaped mist. The spraying speed of the paint is 0.9 meters per second. All coatings are quickly sprayed onto the coating surface without rebounding or splashing, which not only saves 40% of the paint coating, but also has almost no paint mist. It is possible to carry out on-site spraying operations without wearing masks, thus reducing pollution and protecting the environment. Due to the high pressure, the efficiency of the spraying machine is increased by 10 to 50 times compared to traditional spraying machines, and the spraying speed can reach 200 to 600 square meters per hour. This not only ensures the quality of the coating, but also greatly shortens and guarantees the coating cycle. The coating quality is bright and smooth. At the same time, high viscosity coatings can be sprayed, and thinner can be saved or not added during spraying. One layer of airless spraying can achieve a thin coating of 0.05-0.25mm, or even a thick coating of 1-2mm. Because airless spraying has no rebound force, it is easy to enter the corners and edges during spraying, resulting in a uniform, bright, and smooth coating. Due to its coating atomization mechanism relying on the high pressure of the coating itself to form a mist, the atomized coating does not contain compressed air, so it is called airless spraying.
